WOOHOO!! iClick2Learn won an Innovation Award at the Dubbo Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the SJ Shooter Dubbo Business Awards. We were so proud to have our innovative Grant and Tender Business Writing Program recognised for its innovative approach to building social and economic outcomes for the Greater Whitsunday region.

GW3 Grants and Funding Service Grants Program Coordinator Cindy Baker, who co-designed the solution with iClick2Learn said GW3 recognised that having limited professional grant and tender writers in our region was a huge barrier to regional business accessing grant funding.

“IClick2Learn partnered with GW3 to design and deliver an innovative program to upskill a cohort of local residents to establish a business offering grant and tender writing services. The solution involves growing a network of skilled professionals across the region, with a focus on collaboration.

“To have a program so widely welcomed that we were oversubscribed was an achievement that recognised the value of the innovation, and winning this award really demonstrates that the business award judges also recognise the innovative approach we took.

“Building local businesses that can support other businesses to gain access to funds is a win- win for everyone,” Ms Baker said.

Ms Bramble said the award was sponsored by NBN Co, who were also vital in delivering the program to our cohort who are spread across our region and connect them with the program trainers.

“Our award for Excellence in Innovation recognises the implemented innovative solution and we are so proud to have designed this with GW3 and be able to train and develop a cohort of 14 local people who are offering a great service to the community”, Ms Bramble said.

Thanks so much to the sponsors nbn® Australia – without whom we wouldn’t be able to do our work!

The award for Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion, recognises the work we have invested into building access, belonging, inclusion, diversity and equity in everything we do.
