    This workshop will help you understand the core functions and structures of a NFP organisation, and the different roles and responsibilities of board members, staff and volunteers. The session will also address the various legal duties, legislation and reporting that apply to NFPs

    Event Management

    This workshop will help you understand how to plan, deliver and evaluate great experiences or events; including developing the budget, managing people, sourcing sponsorship, meeting compliance responsibilities and linking in with tourism infrastructure.

    Management and Operations

    The workshop will help increase the understanding of the operational requirements of running a NFP. It covers the elements required for managing your structure, programs, schedules, people, budgets, funding, monitoring and evaluation and compliance, with appropriate systems and processes in place. The session is also suitable for volunteer groups and staff.

    Strategic Planning

    Planning is important to any organisation, and in this session, you will gain an overview and understanding of the strategic planning process, including developing and reviewing the organisation’s values, vision and purpose, analysing factors that could impact the plan, establishing objectives and strategies and monitoring and evaluating the plan.

    Grant Writing

    The basics of writing great grant applications and proposals will be covered, including finding grants, aligning to the funder’s gaols and learning some tips and tricks of the trade. The workshop will also cover creating a project and application budget, and understanding how to plan for and develop acquittal reports.
